This adventure begins on the British Caribbean island of Antigua. Here, you'll join the rest of the crew aboard S/Y Argo in Nelson's Dockyard, one of the premier tourist attractions in Antigua. No trip to Antigua would be complete without a tour of this restored Georgian yard, named after the famous English Admiral Horatio Nelson, yet after the tour it's anchors up and off we go, destination St. Barts.

This first overnight passage will really introduce you to life on passage and life aboard a working vessel as you learn the ropes and rotate through your time on watch, your time to sleep and your time to help out in the galley.

We'll spend a full day exploring the very chic French island of St. Barts before setting sail once again for Saba, a tiny island that rises steeply from the azure sea. Saba is a magical experience and you may even feel like you have stepped back in time as you explore the pristine marine park and rainforest.

 

The final overnight passage brings us to the British Virgin Islands, where you'll discover why this group of 36 islands has been described as a sailor's paradise. Visit Virgin Gorda's famous rock formation, the Baths. Dip beneath the aquamarine waters and meet marine life of every shape and shade. Relax at the beach at the Bitter End Yacht Club and celebrate your crew's accomplishment at the final dinner in Road Town before boarding your flight home the following morning.

All in all, this 7-night, 8-day voyage will be something to remember.

DAY 1:
Arrive in Antigua and join Argo in Nelson's Dockyard in English Harbour

DAY 2:
Dockyard tour, vessel orientation.
Set sail, vessel handling and safety drills.
Make passage overnight to St. Barts

DAY 3:
Arrive St. Barts at breakfast
Explore St. Barts, lunch and dinner ashore

DAY 4:
Prepare to depart after breakfast for the 30 nm passage to Saba. Dinner aboard

DAY 5:
Day ashore in Saba to hike, scuba, Spa, Explore! Back aboard for dinner and then overnight sail to the British Virgin Islands

DAY 6:
Arrive in Virgin Gorda, tour the Baths. End in Gorda Sound at the Bitter End Yacht Club for beach activities and dinner ashore

DAY 7:
Breakfast ashore or aboard, sail to Road Town, Tortola for shore time and final dinner

DAY 8:
Depart the vessel and return home
